More than 232,000 people have completed Hajj 2027 Registration in Pakistan within the first two weeks of the government’s online registration campaign, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The registration drive remains open, allowing prospective pilgrims to qualify for future Hajj arrangements under both government and private schemes.

Over 232,000 applicants register in two weeks

The Ministry of Religious Affairs said more than 232,000 applicants successfully registered through the Pak Hajj App and the official online registration portal during the first 14 days of the process.

Among the registered pilgrims, around 175,000 selected the Government Hajj Scheme, while nearly 58,000 chose the Private Hajj Scheme. The figures highlight strong public interest in the new registration system, which allows people to complete the process from home.

The ministry has confirmed that online registration will continue until further instructions are issued.

Punjab leads registrations

Punjab recorded the highest number of registrations, with more than 108,000 applicants completing the process.

Sindh followed with over 71,000 registrations, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa accounted for more than 33,000 applicants.

The ministry also shared gender-wise data, showing that approximately 136,000 men and 96,000 women have registered so far.

Hajj 2027 Registration Rules Every Applicant Should Know

The government has made registration mandatory for anyone planning to perform Hajj 2027, regardless of whether they intend to travel under the Government Hajj Scheme or the Private Hajj Scheme.

Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf previously announced that registration is completely free and no fee is charged at this stage.

Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and those who do not complete registration will not be eligible to submit Hajj applications later.

Applicants must also hold a valid passport with an expiry date extending at least until 26 November 2027.

More options for families and overseas Pakistanis

The ministry has introduced multiple registration methods to make the process more accessible.

Families can register together under a single application, while overseas Pakistanis are also eligible to complete the registration. Those who prefer in-person services can register through designated banks, whereas others can use the online portal or the Pak Hajj App.

The continued online registration period gives eligible applicants additional time to complete the mandatory requirement before further Hajj 2027 registration procedures begin.
