The Hajj 2027 Registration process will officially begin in Pakistan on June 22, 2026, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony. The announcement brings relief and clarity for thousands of aspiring pilgrims preparing for the holy journey to Makkah next year.
Officials confirmed that the registration will be completed through the ministry’s official online Hajj portal at hajj.mora.gov.pk. The system is designed to make the process more transparent, accessible, and fully digital for applicants across the country and overseas Pakistanis.
Authorities said that only registered individuals will be eligible to apply for the government or private Hajj schemes later in the process. This early registration step is mandatory before booking or selection begins.
Online Registration Process and Requirements
Applicants will need to create personal accounts on the official portal and enter their personal details along with information about family or group members. The ministry has advised users to form groups mainly consisting of close family members to avoid complications during processing.
At this initial stage, a passport will not be required. However, applicants must hold a valid passport before the booking phase begins. The passport must remain valid until at least November 16, 2027.
The government has also confirmed that no registration fee will be charged. This makes the process accessible for a large number of applicants, including those from low and middle-income backgrounds.
Overseas Pakistanis will also be eligible to take part in the Hajj 2027 Registration process through the same online system.
Officials said Hajj 2027 bookings will follow a first-come, first-served basis until the quota is filled. Final costs, packages, and policy details will be announced under the upcoming Hajj Policy 2027.
The ministry urges applicants to use only official channels for updates.
