The Karachi inter exams 2026 schedule has officially been announced, bringing clarity for thousands of students across the city. According to the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK), the annual intermediate examinations will begin on April 29, 2026, in the first phase.
The announcement has provided much-needed relief to students who were waiting for the final exam timetable. BIEK officials confirmed that all necessary preparations for the examinations have been completed to ensure smooth and transparent conduct across Karachi.
Chairman of the Board, Ghulam Hussain Lakho, stated that admit cards for private candidates have already been sent to their registered home addresses. Students who do not receive their admit cards have been advised to visit the board office on April 27. They must carry important documents, including fee receipts, registration cards, or matriculation result copies for verification.
Officials confirmed arrangements for Science and General groups are complete. The board has also completed planning for Arts (Regular) and Home Economics candidates.
BIEK emphasized that all examinations will be conducted in a fair and organized environment. Strict monitoring and administrative measures will be in place to avoid any irregularities during the exam process.
Earlier, the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams in Karachi had already begun on April 10. The schedule was revised previously due to administrative adjustments during a system transition within the education board.
