NADRA Launches Digital Platform with Maps and Data Services

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a new digital platform designed to modernize citizen services across Pakistan. The upgraded system improves NADRA online verification and brings advanced mapping and data tools for users, institutions, and government departments.

The launch marks a major step in NADRA’s ongoing shift toward a fully digital identity management system. The new platform aims to make identity services faster, more transparent, and easier to access for both local and overseas Pakistanis.

According to details, the redesigned website integrates multiple services into one unified system. Citizens can now access CNIC, NICOP, POC, Family Registration Certificate (FRC), and Child Registration Certificate (CRC) services through a more structured interface.

Officials say the platform focuses on simplifying public access while improving data accuracy and service delivery.

Interactive Maps and Digital Data Tools Introduced

One of the key features of the new system is a geospatial data interface. It allows users to view registration and demographic information through interactive maps.

The platform enables district-level comparisons of population and registration data. Users can also download thematic maps for research and analysis purposes.

This feature is expected to support policymakers, researchers, and government institutions in better understanding population trends across Pakistan.

The system also integrates civil registration data, including records of births, deaths, marriages, and divorces at the union council level.

Officials believe this will improve data transparency and help in more efficient planning at the local and national levels.

Centralized Verification and Public Services

A major improvement in the platform is the centralized NADRA online verification system. Verification services have now been grouped into a single section, making it easier for banks, telecom companies, and government offices to access identity checks.

This integration is expected to reduce processing time and improve reliability across sectors that depend heavily on identity verification.

In addition, NADRA has expanded its digital services for public support. A 24-hour call center, email support, and an upgraded complaint management system have been added to improve user experience.

The platform also introduces performance tracking tools, allowing users to see complaint status and response timelines.

Improved Transparency and Career Access

The new website includes a dedicated Right to Information section. Citizens can now submit information requests, track updates, and receive official responses within defined timelines.

NADRA has also upgraded its careers portal. Job seekers can now access listings through a verified login system using the Pak ID platform. The authorities aim to improve transparency in recruitment processes with this step.

Officials say the updated digital ecosystem reflects NADRA’s long-term goal of building one of the most advanced biometric identity systems in the world.
