The Federal Public Service Commission has revised the FPSC test dates for its General Recruitment Tests Phase-I/2026 after a recent postponement. The new schedule brings clarity for thousands of candidates waiting to appear in the exams across Pakistan.
According to the latest notice, the tests will now take place from May 9 to May 20, 2026. Earlier, the exams were scheduled between April 25 and May 6, but were delayed due to administrative reasons.
Candidates who have already registered do not need to apply again. The commission will upload updated admission certificates and a revised timetable by May 2, 2026. Applicants are advised to regularly check the official FPSC website to stay informed about any further updates.
The schedule change comes at a time when Islamabad has remained under strict arrangements due to ongoing diplomatic activities. While officials have not linked the delay directly to any specific event, the revised timeline aims to ensure the smooth conduct of exams.
FPSC has also provided helpline support for candidates seeking clarification. The helplines will remain available during working hours to address queries related to exam centers, roll number slips, and schedules.
For many aspirants, the new dates offer extra time to prepare. However, candidates should use this period wisely and stay updated with official announcements to avoid missing important instructions.
