Farmers selected under the Punjab Agricultural Scheme will receive financial assistance of Rs. 250,000 to help cultivate five acres of land allocated through the provincial government’s farming initiative. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced that each beneficiary will receive Rs. 50,000 per acre, while the selection process was completed through a merit-based draw.
The support is part of the provincial government’s efforts to improve agricultural production and provide farming opportunities to eligible applicants across different regions of Punjab. Along with financial aid, successful beneficiaries will also receive technical guidance to help manage and cultivate their allocated land.
