The Young Professionals Program 2026 has opened applications in Punjab, giving fresh graduates a chance to receive a monthly stipend of Rs150,000 during a one-year training program. The initiative is being offered by the Punjab Public Private Partnership Authority (PPPPA) under the provincial finance department and is designed to help young professionals gain practical experience by working on real projects.
The programme targets talented graduates who want to strengthen their professional skills before entering the job market. While it provides valuable training and financial support, the authority has clarified that it is not a permanent job or a contractual appointment.
Young Professionals Program 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet specific academic and age requirements to qualify for the programme.
Candidates must:
- Be Pakistani citizens.
- Be 25 years of age or younger.
- Hold a 16-year degree from a Higher Education Commission (HEC)-recognized institution or an internationally recognized university.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.3.
Graduates from several academic backgrounds are eligible to apply. These include Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Project Management, Artificial Intelligence, Law, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Economics, Media Studies, Public Policy, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences.
Training Details and Selection Process
The PPPPA plans to induct up to 15 young professionals under this year’s programme. However, the authority reserves the right to increase or reduce the number of available seats as required.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to take a written test, followed by an interview. The authority has also stated that no travel allowance (TA) or daily allowance (DA) will be provided during the selection process.
The programme will run for one year, allowing selected participants to work alongside experienced professionals on active public-private partnership projects. This practical exposure aims to improve participants’ technical knowledge and workplace skills.
Why This Opportunity Matters
For many fresh graduates, gaining relevant work experience can be one of the biggest challenges after completing their education. The Young Professionals Program 2026 combines structured training with a competitive monthly stipend, helping participants build practical expertise while working in a professional environment.
At the same time, applicants should note that completing the programme does not guarantee future employment with the authority. It is intended solely as a training opportunity to support early-career development.
