Pakistan’s higher education sector is set for a major change after the Higher Education Commission approved new dual and joint degree programmes for universities across the country.
The new HEC dual degrees policy will allow students to enroll in two degree programmes at the same time, even if the subjects belong to different academic fields. Officials say the move aims to expand learning opportunities and improve academic flexibility for students nationwide.
