Education authorities across examination centers have introduced strict new instructions aimed at strengthening Female exam privacy during ongoing matriculation examinations. The move focuses on ensuring a respectful, secure, and comfortable environment for female students appearing in 9th and 10th class exams across Pakistan.
According to official directives issued by the Chairman of the Matric Board, Ghulam Hussain, examination staff have been clearly instructed to uphold dignity and privacy standards at all girls’ examination centers. The decision comes amid ongoing exams where thousands of female students are currently appearing under board supervision.
The new guidelines strictly prohibit any demand for female candidates to remove their veils, including burqas and abayas, at examination centers. Authorities said students must be allowed to take exams without any interference in their personal or cultural dress choices.
Officials also confirmed that no complaints of cheating or misconduct have been reported from girls’ examination centers so far. Despite this, the board has reinforced preventive measures to maintain trust and discipline in the examination system.
To ensure comfort and safety, the board has directed that male invigilators will not be posted at girls’ exam centers. Female staff will oversee these centers to maintain privacy and avoid any discomfort among candidates.
The chairman also warned that strict disciplinary action will be taken against any staff member found violating these instructions. He stressed that maintaining a respectful environment is a top priority during the examination process.
Education officials say these measures aim to balance academic integrity with cultural sensitivity. They added that protecting student dignity is essential for a fair and stress-free examination experience.
