Sindh Governor Nehal Hashmi Pledges Expansion of PM Youth Programme Across the Province, highlighting the government’s commitment to youth development initiatives in Pakistan. During a media press conference in Karachi, the Governor emphasized that the expansion will improve youth education and employment programs, creating more opportunities for young people in Sindh. This initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP) and focuses on enhancing skills, education, and job opportunities.
The programme aims to provide vocational training programs in Pakistan and youth certification and degree programs in Karachi. Sindh Governor Nehal Hashmi said that partnerships with local organizations and educational institutions will increase the reach of the PM Youth Programme Sindh. Over 10,000 youths have already benefited from computer training programs and government youth empowerment programs. Such youth skill development initiatives in Pakistan help reduce unemployment and support sustainable growth.
Furthermore, the PM Youth Programme Sindh will include youth scholarships and training schemes in Pakistan. These programs ensure that students from low-income families can access education programs for youth in Sindh and vocational training opportunities. The Governor highlighted that the youth employment scheme Pakistan projects are designed to prepare graduates for real-world challenges. By strengthening youth empowerment initiatives in Karachi, the programme will also contribute to national progress.
The initiative receives backing from Shehbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, and local PMYP Sindh Coordinators like Fahad Shafiq. By implementing youth education and skills training in Sindh programs, the government aims to build a productive, skilled workforce. In addition, free Sehri and Iftar programs, combined with the youth development policy of Sindh, provide social support alongside education and job initiatives.
