People's Bus Service in Sindh to Launch in Five Additional Cities

People’s Bus Service in Sindh to Launch in Five Additional Cities is the latest initiative by the Sindh Transport and Mass Transit Department. This expansion aims to improve commuting facilities for citizens and strengthen public transport across the province. The government plans to introduce new electric and double-decker buses to enhance comfort and efficiency.

Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced that Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Sukkur, Shikarpur, and Khairpur will receive the People’s Bus Service after Eid. This move is part of the wider public transport expansion in Sindh, ensuring more cities benefit from modern commuting options. Citizens in these cities can expect safe, affordable, and reliable services.

In Karachi, the department is already adding electric buses and double-decker buses to existing routes. The Gulshan-e-Memar to Tower route will include new EV buses, strengthening the city’s EV bus network. Officials say these buses will reduce traffic congestion and provide a cleaner, eco-friendly travel option.

The People’s Bus Service cities will enjoy improved scheduling and better accessibility for daily commuters. Hyderabad public transport and Tando Allahyar bus service will now connect major urban and suburban areas efficiently. Sukkur, Shikarpur, and Khairpur transport systems will also see enhanced services, making travel easier for residents and tourists alike.

Government transport initiatives like this aim to modernize infrastructure, reduce pollution, and support economic growth. The Sindh Transport and Mass Transit Department continues to evaluate feedback to expand services further. By introducing electric buses and expanding the EV bus network, commuting facilities for citizens across Sindh are improving steadily.

This expansion shows the government’s commitment to modern, sustainable, and inclusive public transport solutions for all residents.
