Key projects include repairing main roads, reconstructing damaged streets, and preserving historic buildings on I.I. Chundrigar Road. The cabinet also approved Rs1.57 billion for historic building preservation, showing a commitment to combining infrastructure development with cultural conservation.
Additional funding covers other civic priorities. Rs7 billion has been set aside for Gul Plaza fire compensation, and Rs5.20 billion will support Hyderabad Municipal Corporation funding. The Sindh Police will receive Rs560 million for operations in riverine areas. Furthermore, Rs900 million is allocated under Phase II of the People’s IT Programme, which includes youth training initiatives.
