Ducky Bhai & Aroob Jatoi Summoned Over Social Media Gambling. A high-profile case has drawn attention across Pakistan. YouTuber Saadur Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, and his wife Aroob Jatoi face charges for allegedly promoting gambling and betting apps on platforms like YouTube and TikTok. The focus on this case highlights social media accountability and cybercrime investigation in Pakistan.

Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo formally indicted both individuals. The prosecution, led by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), accused them of online sponsorship and promotions encouraging the public to use gambling apps. All accused pleaded not guilty and opted to contest the trial. The next hearing is scheduled for February 23.

Authorities registered this case under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016 and Pakistan Penal Code sections 294-B and 420. Charges include electronic forgery, fraud, spamming, and spoofing. Authorities arrested Ducky Bhai, a top Pakistani content creator with 10M+ subscribers, but the Lahore High Court granted him bail last November.

Experts say the trial sets a precedent for digital content creators in Pakistan. Social media influencers now face increased scrutiny for promotions that violate legal standards. The case also emphasizes public responsibility online, because millions of followers watch content creators like Ducky Bhai and Aroob Jatoi. Authorities aim to stop gambling promotion, marking a key case in social media accountability.
