These 2027 scholarships for Pakistani professionals offer master’s level programmes in recognized Australian universities. The initiative focuses on education-focused development initiatives, capacity-building programs, and leadership development opportunities. Through this, Australia strengthens people-to-people ties and contributes to Pakistan’s long-term development.
Applicants can pursue priority fields of study, including climate change studies, women and girls’ empowerment, agriculture and water security, infrastructure development, and inclusive economic growth. All courses cover tuition fees, living expense allowance, and overseas student health cover. Selected candidates may also receive fieldwork allowances and an establishment allowance to support their studies.
Eligibility criteria for Australia Awards scholarships include being a Pakistani citizen, completing 16 years of education, and having at least five years of relevant professional experience. Applicants must submit a Development Impact and Linkages Plan showing how their studies will benefit Pakistan. An IELTS score of 6.0 is required, and candidates must meet the return to Pakistan requirement for at least two years after graduation.
The selection and interview process evaluates academic merit, leadership potential, and contribution to Pakistan’s development. Shortlisted candidates are contacted through online application via the OASIS portal. Applications for the 2027 intake opened on 1 February 2026 and close on 30 April 2026 at 14:00 AEST.
