Group Calls Now Available on WhatsApp Web

With the new update, users can now start group voice and video calls directly from a group chat in the browser. A call button appears at the top of the chat window when the feature is available.
Users can choose between voice and video calls and even select specific members from the group instead of calling everyone at once. This gives more control and flexibility during communication.
Key Features and Availability
The new WhatsApp Web Calls feature supports up to 32 participants in a single group call. It also includes end-to-end encryption, ensuring that conversations remain private and secure.
WhatsApp Web also supports call links, allowing users to invite others easily. Screen sharing is available during video calls, making the feature useful for online classes, meetings, and presentations.
The update is especially helpful for users in Pakistan who prefer using laptops for work or study. Linux users will also benefit since WhatsApp does not offer a dedicated desktop app for their system.
WhatsApp has not announced an official global rollout date yet, but wider availability is expected soon as testing continues.
