NADRA Issues Notice for Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia Over Hajj

The NADRA Saudi Arabia notice has drawn attention from thousands of Pakistani expatriates after the National Database and Registration Authority announced key service changes for the Hajj 2026 season. The update affects Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia who rely on NADRA services for identity documents and registration support.

According to officials, the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah has temporarily suspended NADRA operations at the Madinah office starting April 12, 2026. The decision was taken to support Hajj-related arrangements and manage the expected increase in pilgrim movement during the holy season.

Temporary Suspension of Services in Madinah

Authorities confirmed that NADRA services in Madinah will remain closed throughout the Hajj period. The suspension is temporary, and services will resume after the conclusion of Hajj operations.

To reduce inconvenience, the NADRA Registration Centre in Jeddah has increased staffing levels. This step aims to handle a higher number of applications from Pakistani citizens during the suspension period.

Officials have advised Pakistanis in Saudi Arabia to contact the Consulate General of Pakistan, Jeddah, for guidance and support regarding documentation issues.

Digital Services Remain Available

Despite the suspension of physical services in Madinah, NADRA has encouraged citizens to use the Pak-ID mobile application. The digital platform allows users to access key identity services without visiting offices.

Authorities have also urged overseas Pakistanis to plan and avoid last-minute applications during the busy Hajj season.

The advisory is part of broader efforts to streamline administrative services while ensuring smooth facilitation for pilgrims and expatriates.
