Rana Sanaullah confirmed in an exclusive interview that two serious deal efforts with PTI’s founder failed, highlighting the ongoing deadlock in Pakistan’s political negotiations. Both attempts, involving top mediators, could not bridge the gap due to the PTI founder’s obstinate stance.
The first effort was led by Mohsin Naqvi and Ali Amin Gandapur before November 26. The second involved overseas political negotiators with ties to the PTI founder. Although an initial agreement seemed possible, negotiation withdrawal PTI occurred, and the deal could not be finalized. Rana Sanaullah emphasized that the founder’s demands were unacceptable and lacked compromise.
Rana Sanaullah’s political statement also clarified that PTI’s leadership stance avoids practical solutions. He noted that the party does not seek jail visits or medical treatment but wants to make these issues political. Meanwhile, the military leadership of Pakistan‘s role remains neutral, and there is no personal political agenda. Analysts believe these failed political negotiations underline a continuing political deadlock in the country.
The adviser highlighted that dialogue remains essential, but revolutionary talk Pakistan politics cannot replace structured government and opposition talks. Political reconciliation in Pakistan is possible, but it requires willingness from all parties. The government remains open to future discussions, while the PTI founder’s obstinate stance continues to block progress.
