The provincial police, under IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, have issued clear directives for the strict enforcement of all kite flying rules Punjab-wide. To strengthen security, monitoring teams will use modern technology, including drones and CCTV, for crowd capacity management in Lahore and other cities of Punjab province. Authorities will implement motorcycle safety rods and other precautionary equipment in high-risk areas. Legal action against offenders will follow immediately, reinforcing compliance with SOPs and safe celebration guidelines.
