Pakistan to Launch Mandatory Hajj Training Sessions Nationwide Starting January 1: Religious Affairs Ministry has announced that all pilgrims must attend one-day Hajj training programs before performing Hajj 2026. This initiative aims to ensure pilgrims are fully prepared for pilgrimage rituals and administrative Hajj affairs. The Ministry emphasized that participation in these sessions is compulsory and part of nationwide pilgrimage preparation sessions.

The Nisab Committee will coordinate the training programs, while Haji camp officials and master trainers will conduct them. Religious scholars’ guidance will also be provided to ensurean accurate understanding of rituals. Pilgrims can access schedules and updates through the Pak-Hajj 2025 mobile app, the official website, and SMS alerts. Multimedia training presentations will be used to enhance learning and improve comprehension.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs, Islamabad, highlighted that the training sessions comply with the Ministry of Health guidelines. Only medically fit pilgrims may perform Hajj, while those with serious illnesses will be restricted. Authorities also bar pregnant women and patients with whooping cough, tuberculosis, viral hemorrhagic fever, or cancer.

Pilgrims must provide verified medical fitness certificates. The Ministry warned that it will strictly enforce legal action against unfit certifications. This ensures the protection of human life and maintains high safety standards during the pilgrimage.

The nationwide program represents a major step in pilgrimage preparation sessions and reflects Pakistan’s commitment to educating pilgrims and ensuring a safe Hajj experience. The mandatory training program will begin January 1, 2026, marking a historic initiative by the Religious Affairs Ministry.
