New CEGA Program Supports Gaming & Animation Entrepreneurs by offering startups a unique chance to grow. The initiative is part of Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen creative technology startups and accelerate product development. Gaming startups Pakistan and animation startups Pakistan can now access mentorship from industry professionals, co-working spaces, and technical labs to scale their ideas.
The six-month equity-free CEGA incubation program, run by the Centre of Excellence in Gaming and Animation in partnership with the Ministry of IT and Telecom, Ignite – National Technology Fund, and HUM Network Limited, is designed to support both early-stage and mature ventures. Participants receive guidance on market validation and demonstration readiness while improving startup scalability. This program provides modern infrastructure access and digital content ecosystem connections, helping entrepreneurs expand the creative economy in Pakistan.
Applicants submit details through the founder and product registration portal, which ensures teams meet startup registration and selection criteria. Past cohorts benefited from mentorship, community support for startups, and access to interactive technology startups, esports, and creative media networks. The initiative also connects participants to entrepreneurship centers like LUMS Centre for Entrepreneurship, strengthening their industry exposure.
CEGA’s new incubation program focuses on accelerating business growth while offering training for up to 10,000 individuals and incubating 200 startups over the coming years. Startups get hands-on support in creative tech, digital content, and gaming, making Pakistan a growing innovation hub.
