NADRA Introduces Three-Stage B-Form Registration for Every Child, making child registration simpler and more secure. Under the new NADRA procedure, each child receives a Child Registration Certificate in three stages. This updated system ensures age-specific registration and improves identity verification nationwide. Parents can now obtain B-Forms for their children more efficiently and avoid inconvenience during school admissions or official verifications.
Three-Stage B-Form: What Parents Should Know
The first B-Form is issued at birth without a photograph and remains valid until age three. Parents must register their child’s birth with the Union Council within one month. The second B-Form, issued after age three, includes a photograph and is valid until age ten. Finally, the third B-Form includes iris scan, fingerprints, and facial-image matching, valid until the age of 18. This three-stage B-Form system complements existing biometric verification, enhancing security for all children.
Parents can apply online via the Pak-ID mobile application or visit the nearest NADRA office in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, or other registration centers nationwide. Phased deployment ensures smooth operations, and timely renewal of each B-Form prevents delays in school admissions or official processes.
Benefits and Importance of the Updated NADRA Rules
The new NADRA rules ensure accurate child identity verification and reduce the risk of duplication. The updated system allows children to have valid B-Forms at every life stage, making birth registration transparent. With biometric features like iris scans and fingerprints, authorities can efficiently verify identities. Parents are advised to follow the validity periods and obtain updated B-Forms promptly.
