The resolution praised the armed forces for their role in maintaining national security and supporting civil-military unity. Lawmakers from all parties expressed full support for the Pakistan Army’s professionalism and counterterrorism efforts.

The resolution, moved by Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, highlighted the sacrifices of martyrs in the fight against terrorism. Over the past five years, more than 3,141 personnel, including officers, junior commissioned officers (JCOs), and jawans, embraced martyrdom while defending the nation.
