Karachi University Announces Revised Class Timings for Students as part of a new hybrid learning schedule university plan. The decision combines on-campus and online classes to improve academic flexibility and student convenience. Officials confirmed that this Karachi University class timing update aims to balance physical learning with digital education. The revised Karachi University academic timetable also addresses transportation challenges and rising fuel costs in Pakistan.
According to the University of Karachi administration, physical classes will take place twice weekly. Students will attend on-campus lectures every Monday and Thursday under the new university’s weekly class schedule. The morning program will run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Meanwhile, the evening program will operate from 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM on the same days.
Registrar Imran Ahmed Siddiqui explained that online learning continuation will occur during the remaining weekdays. This hybrid education model allows students to maintain academic progress while reducing commuting difficulties. Officials also stated that the campus operations schedule will remain active for faculty and staff throughout the week.
University authorities directed department heads to ensure strict compliance with the revised schedule. The updated university attendance policy also requires both teaching and non-teaching staff to remain present during campus hours. Furthermore, the university transport service schedule will operate fully on the days of physical classes.
Postgraduate classes scheduling may vary depending on departmental needs. Departments may arrange MPhil and PhD academic sessions during weekends if required. These measures aim to improve the higher education timetable adjustment and ensure academic continuity.
Experts believe hybrid learning improves student accessibility and academic efficiency. According to higher education reports, flexible schedules can increase attendance and reduce operational challenges.
